Today was the day that we had the Japanese placement test; it consisted of 4 parts. Grammar, kanji knowledge, writting, and an inverview. When i begun the test, it did not seem so difficult, but then... I realized I was forgetting what I knew!! :( then from there... LOCK! :(. I only was able to get to the kanji knowledge; then we had interviews, of which I could not reply to much, and there were words I did not understand. EEHH Dame DAME!! (It was soo bad!! ) I ended up placing in Foundation 1 . :(. Begginer again, but I think it will help me strengthen my grammer.
Then we went to AP house. Yurim, SunYoung, and I were going to cook lunch together :) so as we were walking to my room, we saw Elena!!! (i had been asking about her, and we had been talking through facebook. ) SO perfect timing :) especially since she did not take the Japanese placement test so she could have come at any hour.
For the first time, today I learned how to microwave rice to cook it!!! :)!!!!! It actually works!!! I had to put water and leave it for 2 min, then repeat with a bowl on top of the rice (to steam). It took a while thoe.. but ... yayyy!! Elena walked with me around later after all of us went to the COOP shop (which is the convinient store on campus.. but it has food, living things, machines, books, and more :) I took pictures with her outside :) it was fun.
| Chris :)... i found you a cat!!! <3 |
Later in the night I ended up on floor 4 after walking around at night with Yurim and SunYoung :)!
After dinner we went on the main road and saw the pretty lights!! It was amazing. I took pictures :P
I dropped them off at their rooms after watching a Korean youtube video (gandom style) I said goodnight (and was planing on going to bed); and headed back to my floor, but on the way I saw some friends at the kitchen table and they invited me to join them. They were speaking japanese and english so i decided to put off sleep and stay up to hang out and practice japanese :). In our group we talked about alot! And I met a guy by the name of Fernando who is from Mexico!! So we spoke spanish! It was soo cool to be able to again! (not many people speak spanish here.. )
They danced gandum style!!
After talking I soon went to bed. Well.... actually.. after talking... i stayed up blogging and skyping and facebooking (i keep trying to do my mest to keep in touch). I must say it is very difficult. ZzZzzzzZZzzzz.
