Information Orientation day!
Today we were informed on technical processes of the APU campus and portal. We were given two useful booklets, which just might come in handy! APS students and APM students were separated... so i said goodbye to Yu and Sunyoung. I saw Elena and met some more people. I also met in the computer lab a Japanese guy from California named Go. We hung out most of the time. He seems pretty cool. He does not live on campus though, but down town. But he likes photography like me and he really likes basketball! :)!!!
They had the farmers market today (it is like a farmers market,). Where vendors come and sell their produce :). I bought potatoes and onions :). He wanted to see the Basketball court, so I showed him, then we had to hurry to the bus stop so that he could catch his bus and I could be back in time for the emergency drill (fire tornado... etc... )
The drill was SO COol!!!! It was a long walk and one of out friends forgot her shoes :P... but in the building there is an automatic lock down screen if there is a fire that it will come down over the elevator. When we got to the designated area, there was a demonstration by 3 men. The translator spoke English SOOO well! Then they instructed us on what to do and also created a fire on a raft board for demonstration! It was HUGE!!! :) Then they put it out using the extinguisher (again for demonstration). EEEEHHh!!! Why don't we do that in high school or college???? It was really cool!

When we got back to the dorm we ate dinner. I ended up eating with two Thailand girls named Lily and Net. :) They are pretty cool! We also tried to watch a Japanese game show on TV to see if we could understand.... not yet I guess.. :P.. it was a big difficult.
Later I hung out in the lobby downstairs. I talked with friends and met new friends. Some that were very kind were from Bangladesh. Then there were a whole bunch of students playing guitars and singing in a circle. It was so cool!! :) They were playing a song from Maroon 5.

At night  I was invited by Mai (from the 4th floor), to join them as they celebrated Clement's (an exchange student from France) surprise birthday party at midnight! It was funny because it was hard to hide SO many of us! So he was not as surprised... but soo fun!! They made him a small cake, but he shared with ALL OF US!!! :O!! So manny small pieces!!! it was sooooo delicious! I took lots of pictures. Then after we tried the cake, we went to Beppu-wan (which is a bus station at the back of campus by the "stairway to heaven":P... people call it that because it is steep and looks tall.
Hanging out was so much fun! I got to talk to Mai too!! I was very glad i came, and was honored to be invited (even though i was not from the 4th floor :P)

"I also want the women to dress modestly,...with good deeds, appropriate for women who profess to worship God."  Our focus should be inward. It was difficult yesterday at orientation not to focus on outward, whether dressed like a queen or a beggar.. the inward will impact more than clothes, the heart is what lasts, connects and touches. But it starts with love once again. It is hard to focus on inward right now. It is strange how things feel so flashy.. it distracts it distracts. But through distractions we learn to cling to our main focus. Cling to truth which is found in Jesus <3

Goodnight :)/ Good morning!
P.S: Picture will be comming soon!!
