Do not merely listen to the word (of GOD), and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it—not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it—they will be blessed in what they do. (James Chapter 1 parts 22-23)
I really love these verses, because it is so blunt and true. It is somthing that might sound silly at first but is somthing that is proven to be internal and common. I also love how James talks about when we do keep God's law, we will be blessed by what we do... note: blessed! He never says that that is what saves us, nor somthing that we have to do, but because it is good and it is God's law, it will produce good! <3 But I think I fall trap so many times to the action its self instead of who placed the command and why. God, because he loves us and wants the best fruits for us. He wants to shine His glory through our lives... but if we fill it with acid (things that are contrarty to his plan and commandments), then the acid will eat up what is good, and rot our lives and hearts. <3
Today I was late again to my Business Negotiations class :\. But the class was so fun and interactive today:)!!!
It was very windy and rainy today. I got to wear my boots that my brother bought me :) (thank you God for providing! :) And... Today I had to go downtown to buy groceries. Hirosei (a grocery store) was having thier sale since it was a 7th number of the month. ( ie. 7th, 17, 27th.... all are sale days). It was dramatic at 1st, since i had to go grab lunch before going, and Cherry and Nindya and I would meet up later. I grabed lunch, got Monika, and went to go meet them, but they were not there... :\.. I ended up going by myself :\. But I saw Go at the bus stop. It was really good to see a familiar face that would go on the same bus as me. We talked and then I got off at my stop. He also gave me a keyring that was an advertisement/ promotion freebie. It was sooo cutte!!! But he said he would give his to a little kid... ( so i wanted to do the same... whaaa... it was soo cute thoe... but this challenged me... he was the one to say it 1st :O ) .
On the bus i felt like crying. I am not used to going places by myself... so it was very uncomfortable and made me sad that I had gotten left behind :( .
I had my umbrella, my backpack, and a small suitcase with me that Dea let me borrow ( to store food ) .
| SALMON HALFS.. Only 150 yen = $2 |
| SO CHEAP! Less than a dollar! (FRESH FRESH!) |
I took pictures while shopping and searching for good prices.
I later bumped into Cherry and Nindya at the store... we all got what we needed, but i forgot somthing and it was too late by the time I checked out :\.... Sad again... I was once again by myself...
But i think there was a reason for it...
Rely on the LORD.
I had time to think about alot amoung other things.
When i got home ( to 5th floor), there was a Korean pancake party, that our RA's put on. <3!!
SOO YUMMMMYY!! SERIOUUSSLLYY!! Kimchi pancakes!! WOWW!!! I ate soo manny :P
I got to talk with people from our floor and take pictures. :)
